Rolex grade-i vertical surface grinder [segmental type] is useful for precision production of dies, gears, engine blocks arid machine tools. The base, table and other parts are of high grade cast iron seasoned and hardened. Electrical controls and coolant arrangement are housed in the base. The table is ground to maintain maximum accuracy. Lubrication is of the roller type with an internal reservoir system. The vertical grinding spindle runs in ball and thrust bearings which take up any grinding pressure on the wheel. These grinders are available in table sizes of 1,220 x 290 mm and 750 x 190 mm with segmental wheel diameter of 300 and 150/200 mm, respectively. They are also available with hydraulic feeds. The grinders are supplied with standard equipment like electrical coolant pump, electric motors, starter, vee-belts, machine lamp and splash guard.
